Just a friendly note in uncertain times from The Crescent Hotel. For guests planning to travel to Beverly Hills, we are ready, willing and able to serve you with the highest levels of care.

We are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization’s statements regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and following guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments to proactively adapt to new information as it becomes available. Because we have always maintained an above compliant sanitation program at The Crescent Hotel, we thought you might like to hear about the measures we take every day to ensure a safe environment.

Our cleaning products have been verified as effective in combating COVID – 19. We continue our long term love affair with Clorox Commercial Solutions, Simple Green Clean Finish and MicroBan 24 hour cleaners. You may find the exhaustive list here: sars-cov-2

According to the EPA, products on the list have “qualified for use against COVID-19” through the agency’s Emerging Viral Pathogen program where manufacturers provide the EPA with data that “shows their products are effective against harder-to-kill viruses.” Coronaviruses are what are called enveloped viruses, “meaning they are one of the easiest types of viruses to kill with the appropriate disinfectant product,” the EPA says.

Luckily, The Department of Health rules already require the same level of sanitation that combats COVID- 19 (and many other viral pathogens) in our kitchens and lounge areas and we are proud of our long standing GRADE “A” status.

Because we love cleanliness, we make conscious design choices to help. We ripped out the wall to wall carpet years ago in favor of wood floors that are wiped down between guest stays and our sealed concrete in the bathrooms did away with grout that can also harbor bacteria. We also added Air Purifiers by Dyson in each room for your use.

  •  Each room is thoroughly cleaned top to bottom in preparation for each and every arrival.
  • Our common areas are cleaned at least 3 times per day.
  • We operate our own in-house laundry so there is no travel contamination for your linens; Even thosesealed inner pillow covers are laundered for each guest.We understand that you might be feeling uncertain about travel plans right now, and we want to provide you with some extra flexibility. If you’ve already booked and are now thinking about staying home for any reason but had a pre-purchase/nonrefundable rate or if you are thinking about upcoming travel, you’ll have the option to cancel at any time for a full refund in Crescent Hotel credits if your plans change.
